The Golden Visa is a program that allows individuals to obtain residency by making an investment in Eurpean country. Under the Greece Golden Visa program, residency can be obtained by making a certain amount of real estate investment in the country.
The golden visa program does not grant immediate citizenship. However, indiviuals who have resided continously in Greece for seven years are eligible to apply for citizenship.
As of 2023, the minimum investment for the Greece Golden Visa program starts at £500,000 in certain locations and £250,000 in other areas.

To maintain your Golden visa residency, the investment must be sustained. Selling the investment may result in the cancelation of your residency permit.
The Golden Visa program primarily grants residency rights through investment; however, it does not automatically confer work authorization but you can make your own business.
It takes long between 2-3-6 months.
Under the Golden Visa program, the primary applicant’s spouse and children under 21 years of age are eligible for the same residency rights. Children can benefit from this residency until they reach 21 years of age.
The Golden Visa residence permit is initially granted for a period of five years. Provided the investment is maintained, the permit can be renewed every five years thereafter.
